    That video explains that in FF games the Dragoons fight dragons, fight alongside dragons (having a dragon as companion), and/or use a dragon as a mount.

    There are two ways about this.

    Yes, since dragoons need help since they are always on the floor.

    No, they have enough problems trying to stay off the floor. A pet won't help.

    Jokes aside, I'm against this. They are already balanced with what they have and they should leave a pet for another class they can release down the road.

    I think a few of you are not quite getting what I meant. Idea was having this proposed Wyvern companion acting JUST LIKE the chocobos we have now. Summoned with an item to assist you in open-world content for fun. Not changing DRG to a pet class. No no. Lawdie no. Just something fairly minor and inconsequential.

    I mean I guess I wouldn't complain if they did it. If you do that just for DRG though, then wouldn't you need to do something for other jobs? Seems off they would just do one. They did humor in the past about letting your magitek armor mount be a companion, but we hadn't heard much about that.
