Hmm, it would be cool if a baby dragon can join the grand companies, so we can hire him ^^I feel like at this point in the story, any class could have a valid claim to a dragon companion glamour (as we all went through the dragon storyline regardless), I would like to see this, but it would involve the same amount of effort as egi glamour (though we will see with GC mercenaries)

I thought it would've been cool if they had a wyvern pet like XI, and they had 'dissipation' like scholar, where they consume their dragon and can use their jump abilities for massive damage for a short amount of time
Just get the wind up dragonet from the moogles.
As Miles point out, the FFXI wyvern was added to XIV as a minion already.
As for the job-companion... I feel that'd require DRG to be rebalanced, possibly in a way that most of players won't like.
If you look at Machinist though, you'll realize that it's pretty much the FFXI Dragoon's alter ego. The only difference is that the turret is not smart enough to follow you.
At least you can instantly send out another one if the first one gets trashed. As Miles point out, the FFXI wyvern was added to XIV as a minion already.

if this does somehow get put in, i might end up lvling drg past 34. then theres the bs argument from others " If drg gets a pet that helps you, why cant we get one too for our class"

Why am I reminded of this awesome video everytime someone suggests DRG companions
