There'd be no reason to have legitimately flying mounts. You'd just hover like you usually do but whatever's under you wouldn't be touching the ground - it'd be an illusssioooon. If they really flew, it'd destroy their layer mechanics (Unless 2.0 is going back on those, which I doubt)

I doubt they will add flying mounts. This one mount will be hovering 2 feets over the land and nothing else.

That was my thoughts on it. Not like you're going to be able to fly hundreds of feet in the air or anything.
