Lancer, actually, would really, really fit having Dark Knight as second job. In fact, it has fitting abilities (Blood for Blood to sacrifice HP for damage, Life Surge to drain) and hey, everyone's* favorite MMO also gave us canon for Dark Knights using Scythes, which would be pretty much polearms.
