Goobbue mounts seem like a joke idea to me. Of all the mobs there are few that look less . . . mount-like to me . . . I guess because it is bipedal and doesn't have a good spot to put a saddle? Doesn't strike me as a swift, efficient mount either, more like a lumbering lummox.

To each their own though! If people have their hearts set on Goobbue mounts, I wouldn't complain. ^^

I don't think they've honestly decided to pursue any of that seriously yet - I think it was just an experiment. Notice that the mobs they rendered as mounts were the most popular responses in the "what mounts would you like to see!?" thread from way back? The only one missing is Coblyn - and most of us were joking. (I was serious when I said drake.) However, Goobbue was a joke from the start. I highly doubt they're serious.
