Veto One Dungeon in Each Roulette

The ARF hate is basically always because it's the dungeon everyone gets. And generally people don't want to run the exact same content every single day. It's painfully boring and just feels like a slog. Yes, the reason people are probably all getting the stupid dungeon is because of all the ones that are queuing up to run it for the increased eso. So you get a bunch of singles queuing for it and creating the instance reservation. And then everyone doing 60 roulette gets shuffled into one of those groups. But if so many people are queuing to run the damn thing for eso farming, I don't see how they're going to have that much trouble getting their own parties together. It just happens faster with the roulette cause it sees an open slot in a reserved instance and fills it.

And I don't think that the "don't make it worse cause it's a story requirement" is much of an argument. I said I waited over 30 minutes for each of the 3 initial dungeons, which are all story requirements. And those likely take so long to fill cause most people in general don't really do the Leveling as much as the Ex and 60. And if they do, there are a TON more dungeons to get thrown into.

Yes, obviously I want to have my cake and eat it too. I want the benefit of the roulette for the bonus, but I don't want to run ARF 25 times in the span of one month. I don't want a roulette of 7 or 8 dungeons always spit out the same one. That's like playing Russian Roulette, but every chamber is loaded and you're going to take one to the head no matter what you do. If it were actually a 1/7 or 8 chance, it wouldn't be so painful because you'd maybe only see it once a week, and maybe not for a whole month. But if people keep queuing for it, that's going to create instance reservations that have to be filled. How is it even a roulette if you are always getting the same thing?

It's not that ARF is slow (it can feel like it with the gates), and it's not like the sync is that bad (cause a good party still wipes it clean pretty fast). The thing can be cleared in about 20 mins regularly. It's just that people are getting it constantly and it can drive you crazy. If I want to farm Lore I would just do Sohr Khai and probably Lost City. If I wanted to farm for gear drops for seals I would do Neverreap and Fractal for the double gear drops. Level 60 roulette, on the other hand, sucks, cause I have no issue getting slammed into any other dungeons in that thing. I don't mind helping someone clear Neverreap or running through that with someone else who is on a seal hunt. But ARF makes me want to punch something. I don't want to help eso hunters cause I am not an eso hunter and I do not care about mine or their eso.

Also, of course the idea is selfish. It's entire design is based around making a piece of content more pleasant to the individual player. My experience would be improved by never running ARF ever again, but also being able to run the other dungeons in the roulette and get the daily bonus. Someone else's may be improved by never running Neverreap, or Sastasha. Yes, people may just drop on other ones they don't like, but when someone is so damn rage-filled over that one dungeons that they can now ignore, they are generally going to be more tolerant of the others, cause they know they never have to run the thing they hate.

And, as others have said, when a Tank or Healer drops at the start, you could be screwed for a long time, or have to give up. And when a part of the game gets so frustrating that you would rather screw over 3 other people, every day, and take the penalty every day, rather than run said content, 20 minutes or no, then that is a problem. People want to run the roulette for the bonus. They do not want to run the same dungeon every day for a week solid. I have had Tanks insta-leave. I have had Healers insta-leave. And quite frankly, I'm going to be turning into one of those asshole Healers that sees Aethero and leaves. If that is the only way we can keep telling SE that there is something wrong with their roulette system, then that's what I'm going to do. It's not a roulette when it's the same thing every time.
