Veto One Dungeon in Each Roulette

As countless people have mentioned here, the roulette is serving it's purpose. You get extra rewards for going where you're needed. If you don't want to risk it/aren't in the mood, then queue for specific dungeons.

Just a reminder as to the PURPOSE of Roulette: It is to funnel players into the instances where they are needed.

Why was Leveling Roulette all Sastasha, all the time when NIN was first released? Because there were many players running Sastasha. There was a need. Eventually, the flood passed, and so, too, did the overabundance of Sastasha instances in Roulette. Right now, there is a need for ARF, as many players are running it for Esoterics. This, too, will eventually pass. Just be patient and ride it out.

Roulette is a contract. You are being paid in Tomestones in exchange for helping out where you are needed. There's no promise that you'll get an instance that you'll enjoy, and there shouldn't be.

Couldn't have said it better. People are getting ARF frequently right now because there is a demand for it from a large part of the playerbase.

Or, they could just reduce the amount of Esoterics from that dungeon so players wouldn't simply spam it.

The entire reason they buffed the eso reward from it was because it drops no gear, took a bit of time to do, had a item level sync below what most non-new people who would get it in roulette had, and thus was causing problems of people abandoning the moment they saw it was the dungeon their roulette pulled up. Kinda hard for a new player to go through on their first time when almost every time they get into it half the party ditches you.

If they lower the eso reward and people stop running it then they will still have the issue of new people having their parties ditch them because its ARF.

Its pretty clear they did not want to throw gear in there to encourage people to run it, or maybe they just did not have any gear designed for it yet which is why they just bumped the eso reward.

Yeah, I remember the time when I had to go through it over and over since people spent ages sitting in queue to get in.. but current situation isn't that good either.

Hopefully SE learned something with this and won't repeat it. I'm still working towards Anima weapon, and could use Esoterics, but when 60 "roulette" is ARF every single day, I simply don't find motivation to run it daily anymore, especially since there isn't any loot in that dungeon. Pretty much only running 60 roulette nowadays with full FC-party, at least then I've chance of getting other dungeons.

I wouldn't mind blacklisting one dungeon from 60 roulette and waiting a bit longer to help fill another dungeon.

At least then I would actually be doing them and helping dungeons to fill instead of skipping that roulette.

Sure "The Aetherochemical Research Facility" is nice to run now and then, but doing it daily wears it fast and simply makes players to stop doing it.

Then people would just spam Antitower for their eso tomes. Where is the line drawn?

Comments like these are just going to make SE stop listening to suggestions here. ARF was terrible because it offered nothing significant, gear or tomes or a quick dungeon. People ditched regularly. People complained on here about it, and it gets fixed! Which is great but then you get this kind of comment...

This implies that adding it to Main Scenario roulette would put it someplace where you'll have a better opportunity to avoid it. SE doesn't WANT you to avoid it. Again, the purpose of Roulette is to place people where they are needed, and right now (not forever, but for the time being!), the place where people are needed is ARF, to fulfill the current huge Tomestone demand.

Just ride out the storm. It will pass.

Add it to story roulette and change the roulette reward to 300 eso (if you get ARF) or 300 poetics (if you get CM or Preatorium)
