"Like it or leave" is such a weak response. This game is bleeding resources and limping a long. Yet I'm vilified for finally putting my foot down and demanding answers? Excuse me if riding a goobbue isn't enough to placate me to subscribe. I don't want ton know about 2.0 till 2.0 is ready.

If it isn't, then don't subscribe. They don't have to provide anything for you. They are fine with you not playing, you are fine with it. Then simply don't play. Nobody cares about your bitching if it doesn't lead anywhere.

Hmmmm. I might not understand the question. I log in continuously because I'm having fun and find myself with so many things to do and don't have the time to do them all throughout my daily play time. They will not charge at 1.20 release, they will let us play test it before fees.

For me, its easy to see a trend. Since 1.18 the positive improvements on the game far outshine the very very very few negatives, in my opinion. If the trend continues in 1.20 I'll simply subscribe, no more to it than that. Since 1.18 they always start showing the updates and changes about two weeks prior to release date of patch, I'm so busy in-game at the moment that I do not spend half of my free time (Like back in April) refreshing the Lodestone website waiting for updates. What I have at the moment is more than enough and since they started putting out the massive patches 1.18, 1.18a, 1.18b, 1.19 and 1.19a it just continues going uphill.

I will agree with Betelgeuzah, it is rather simple. Its is not completely black and white in regards to subscribing, you either are having fun and continue playing by subscribing on 1.20 or you don't and either move on to new games or wait until 1.21, 1.22, 1.23 or finally 2.0 to come back.

It sounds to me like you're blowing this out of proportion honestly. I joined back in 1.8. I didn't understand what the issue was back then, as to why this game was so hated. That's when I learned how bad it was at launch.

I guess you being from beta you're definitely still reeling from that sense of betrayal (a point you've made quite clearly) so go ahead and demand answers if you think you're that entitled to it. Don't really blame ya I suppose.

Anyhow, seeing as I'm a new player returning again after the 1.9 update, I honestly feel like things are moving along exactly where they need to be for FFXIV and I'm looking forward to 1.20, whatever it is Seeing as how I got a fresh view of this game, I'd honestly not mind paying for it. The dev team has demonstrated that it's committed, and that should mean a lot. Does to me at least!

i have to say, im not all that happy about the new mounts. I love the mobs, they are part of FF, but controling and riding some of them, like the ahriman just seems...off. Chocobos have always been the prime land mount and airships for the sky, just doesnt seem right using the monsters we fight all the time. If anything use unique monsters that end up in the lore as to why we can tame them. Id much rather that then no reason as to why im mounting a flying evil eye ball.

Here's the thing. I originally decided to stick it out when they admitted they dropped the ball and promised change.

I did take a lengthy break from about February to April, because I wasn't having that much fun.

Since May, the game has been improving in very short strides. But there's a lot of big change coming in the next few updates. I guess I'm alone in expecting them to have talked about what they said they would.

This thread is now about applewood-smoked bacon and waffles. SE is inffalable.
