Well, it's a good thing I never said anything about my questions in specific. Just cited some general stuff I've seen asked.
This has nothing to do with me or my inquiries. Only that SE failed to do what they advertised.
yarn 17 pages of ppl telling you that the latters are not a fail. this thread is a fail, you may have picked up a couple of ppl that believe the carp that your are spouting. but most ppl enjoyed the letters. most ppl dont' need information on 1.19 because playing the game since the patch or talking about the patch on these forums for the last month has been enough to understand what 1.19 is about. we will be getting info on class balancing in 1.20 in a week or so, so we didn't need them to waste our time by talking about something that we are going to find out about in a weeks time anyways. then there is the job system in 1.21. i think the reason we were not told much more than what we already know is coz they are still working on it, and don't want to commit to something now that they might still want to change. here is a hypothetical example for you. they could have told us that monk will be an evade tank, but then after a bit of testing change their mind and make it a DPS. if this was would have ppl complaining (i bet you will be at the front of the queue) "you told us you were going to do this, but then you did this instead"

What I have shown you is reality. What you remember, that is the illusion.

Actually it's 17 pages of the same two people recycling the same baseless garbage and personal hunches as "facts."yarn 17 pages of ppl telling you that the latters are not a fail.
So why advertise specifically 1.19/1.20? If they weren't going discuss it and instead only about 2.0, why didn't they say the theme was 2.0?we will be getting info on class balancing in 1.20 in a week or so, so we didn't need them to waste our time by talking about something that we are going to find out about in a weeks time anyways. then there is the job system in 1.21.

Possibly a reasonable notion, except everything they showed was concepts and things still in development. This argument falls in on itself. If they don't show things we're getting in a month because it's still being worked on then there's absolutely no reason things in 2.0 should ever be shown this early.
I wouldn't as long as they just added in a line like "after thorough testing we've deemed evasion tanking to not be viable in this combat system." Which would make sense given the nasty AoEs they like to give bosses.they could have told us that monk will be an evade tank, but then after a bit of testing change their mind and make it a DPS. if this was would have ppl complaining (i bet you will be at the front of the queue) "you told us you were going to do this, but then you did this instead"

Well it's just a let down that they've talked about stuff which is basically too far ahead. A lot of people think "wtf idc". Information about things which are coming in the nearest future would've been better. Or more details at least.
People are tired of answers like "We're looking into it.", or "We don't know if we can do this, but we're going to talk about it.". While I understand that the dev's don't want to give any information which might be taken back at a later time... but hearing that is the same as hearing nothing at all.
But I have to agree with you. Some people expected certain questions and those didnt show up. Of course they're dissapointed thus the letter have failed.
They could've revealed a lot of more information about the game instead of this "bla bla" though
OT: And I only wanted some information about Blue Mage goddamnit /ragequit ;O;
Seriously Why?

This is all I'm trying to say. After a world tour of interviews, the live letter should have gotten down to business. We're the paying (box sales) customers who soon will have to fork over subscription fees. No one but us would have been watching this. They should have taken the chance to tell us about the exclusive year for which we're expected to pay and how the game we enjoy right now will change.Well it's just a let down that they've talked about stuff which is basically too far ahead. Let me emphasize that last piece:
They should have taken the chance to tell us about the exclusive year for which we're expected to pay and how the game we enjoy right now will change.

Sweet baby Jeebus...
How many more times imam I going to have tonpoint this out?
Yes they're coming, which is why they're asked about. And the fact they're coming soon would be why they should have been discussed in a PR event that said its discuss things in that time frame.

There's no point in going over this with these folks Sephrick, this whole thing is almost like talking to a brick wall. 'Cept the brick wall wouldn't make you want to facepalm.
You've made your point and anyone with a brain can see where you are coming from, whether they fully agree with your point is of no consequence but these guys obviously cannot even see what you are trying to say even though you've broken it down every which way.
Also, the fanboy defense of 2.0 being 'beyond' 1.20 (WHICH MADE EVERYTHING A-OK) is hilarious to me. Just wanted to put that out in the open.
