Alternatively, it'd be interesting if all the classes that lack offhand options (with the possible exception of Ninja) had access to various firearms (e.g. Double Barrels, Flintlocks, Revolvers, Crossbows) with their own stats, range and its own action for firing, the guild with guns equipped under the marauder's guild could be put to use, I'd draw up a diagram of how it would work but it seems a bit too much and might mess things up.
