Items that are quest rewards and the level 1 racial sets can be bought for cheap at the calamity salvager NPC, the new guy added in 3.3 next to it, or traders in each city.
What I'd really want to see is drops from raids and dungeons as well as all tomestone gear.
So? The Seasonal items can also be bought from NPCs and the MogStation? Yet they can be stuffed in the Armoire regardless. Why not extend that to all items that you can only get once outside that NPC, like the Shield/Mask or the Amazon/7-11 promotional items?
Won't happen, sadly. For one, the game is hurting for reasons to run old content already, and SE seems to have both reasons of greed and reasons of limitations as to why they won't/can't do it. Besides you can farm the same content to get more of the same item (not all at a time), just as you can buy the items from the salvager and other NPCsWhat I'd really want to see is drops from raids and dungeons as well as all tomestone gear.
Correction, seasonal items can no longer be bought from the Calamity Salvager nor can you trade in past tokens in for them. I just checked. :B
Right now the only gear I'm hurting on is, I was told AF2, but maybe it's AF1.5 by your reckoning. The level 50 gear you get from level 45 job quests. The way I'm leveling everything at once, keeping balanced, is going to leave me with this gear taking up a lot of inventory space until I get back around to leveling to 50. Further frustrating when the level 45 gear you get from the same quest can be stashed, despite being gear you'll likely immediately be wearing.
Oh. And the Spriggan cap. What's with that one? Just comes around often enough to not need it?
