Introducing more save slots, $1 a month per slot available on the mogstation. The save slot system seems REALLY bad.
Why can't I just have 2 character slots and party up with whoever I want? I'm basically limited to who I can do Deep Dungeon with, which sounds stupid.
If I want to be able to do it solo, I can only choose ONE GROUP OF 4 OR LESS for my other slot, and I can't organize a group consisting of anyone else. That's dumb.
Alternatively, let us have more than 2 slots. I'm really worried that I'll rarely get to experience premade Deep Dungeons, as only being able to go when a specific 3 other players are on for that save file will make it similar to scheduling a raid for 4 people, for casual content.
yeah 2 slots looks like nothing , 1 for solo (just beacause!) , another 1 for matching ...and if some friend want to duo , or static want to form , u need to sacrifice 1 ....The save slot system seems REALLY bad.

dunno how hard would be to add more , but 5 would be cool , solo , match , and 3 for friends (duo , 4 man , another solo job slot )

Only 2 save slots really is completely inexcusable and incomprehensible. There is some irony in that the UI pleasantly looks like an SNES FF game, which even back then had 3 save slots. Why doesn't Square Enix give you guys servers that aren't hunks of junk that they picked out from scrap heaps?

Because of profit margins and quarterly statements.
On-topic, I'm probably going to start with WAR (because OP Equilibrium, Bloodbath and Vengeance) and then try SCH later for lulz. I imagine, just like all solo-able content, that SCH/SMN will be very good choices.

I start any new piece of content as my healer, its just easier to settle into it and get to know mechanics

I, too, am a bit uneasy with the description of how the save slots work. The "saved party" option seems entirely too rigid, at least as it's been described. What if one member can't make it one day? Then, nobody can progress. Or, a worse case, what if you've progressed deep into the dungeon, and one member suddenly drops from the group or quits the game or whatever. That save point is now useless since you can't enter with your saved group. The remaining members all now must start again from square one?
It seems like it would be much simpler if you could go in with any party, at any time, and progression would default to the furthest-behind member of the party. That way, if you have a group of four friends progressing together, and one friend can't make it to a session, the other three can continue on while the fourth makes up the difference on their own (or with another party) until they are caught up again. Then all four can continue on. If a person permanently drops from the group, it's easy to bring in a new member at a similar level of progression.
Perhaps the party save option isn't as bleak as I'm painting it, but right now it looks kinda bad...
