Matching Mount Music

I'm actually surprised nobody has asked this before. (if they haven't that is..)

Would there be any way we could get the proper correlating music tracks to play with each mount?

Such being the Labyrinth of the Ancients theme playing while on Behemoth, Thunderer playing while on Twintania, Dzemael Darkhold theme playing while on Ahriman, and so on.

I would be an easy fix on their side, so I'm surprised it isn't like this at default.


Just got my Twintania and was completely disappointed to hear the same generic "I can fly" mount theme was playing when I hopped on it.

That's what I was told, so I even bought some friends copies of the game just to get it. I feel kinda ripped off tbh.

I can confirm it never had Thunderer playing. I've had it since it's release.

I'd just like the BT mounts to play their respective BT themes, and Fenrir to have Snowcloak music.

The Gnath and the Vanu mounts both never had their beast tribe music, why would the moogle mount be any different? :O

Technically it does, in a round-about way. The default flying mount music (Borderless) is a subtle remix of Silver Tears, the Keeper of the Lake dungeon theme, itself an extended remix of Intertwined, the ARR Mor Dhona theme. Which was no doubt Soken's intention, given Midgardsomr's importance to the plot in Heavensward. Primogenitor (Midgardsormr's boss theme) though is somewhat slower tempoed and more darker in tone, so Soken probably thought it wouldn't quite fit as well as a mount theme.

EDIT: and it seems I was wrong - I listened to Borderless again and realized it is not Silver Tears that it takes most of it's cues from (although there is definitely references to it in there), but indeed it is a faster, more upbeat remix of Primogenitor. So... Middy's flying theme already is his theme in a way.

Every beast tribe mount should have their own BGM. Sad how I love the BGM on Vanu Vanu and there's only plain BGM on Sanuwa...
