Swap casting AOE please!

Well I am hoping they change the system all together making it impossible to toggle aoe on and off. I would prefer a more ff xii way of doing it, with cure being single target, cura multiple and so on.

I was thinking this a few days ago, why is it we have Cure 1, 2 and 3, shouldn't we just get Cure and the spells ranks/improves as our stats get stronger and like you say Cura or Curaga could be just the AoE version.

Same could be said for Fire, Thunder, Water etc, it would probably make gear and stats more meaningful aswell.

I would be in favour or removing all tiered spells and making them work off stats, can't see them doing this though, it would definately help free up some action bar space aswell.
