Are people still insisting that they're carrying people? News flash again, you don't carry people in DF and if the person is in your FC raid and not performing to your holier than thou standards, remove them.

If the person in question is willfully ignorant of basic mechanics of the game and their job, or intentionally ignore it, then yes, it is a carry. Please make that distinction when you're trying to see where people are coming from, no one is expecting perfect play or above average even.

It's not a question of whether or not people get carried. Hell I've had nights where things were going so bad even I thought I was terrible. It's an issue of civility. There's been times doing leveling df where I felt the people I was group with were real bad but I just sucked it up and did the best I could with what we had. I've only ever called out someone three times. Twice was tanks not even trying to aggro and getting our healer swarmed and one guy that was in such a hurry to get the dungeon done he was activating elevators before everyone was on thus adding about five mins to the run

But what you're actually calling "improving attitude" is really just "stop giving a shit about doing well at what you're doing." I guess I could be as oblivious as this DRK, but I'm not interested in Idiocracy becoming a reality.

Sadly this attitude with drk's and darkside is prevalent, it's rather disheartening. I especially get annoyed with "well I'm lazy" as though it somehow justifies it. Then he spends the rest of the time spouting nonsense. But then people act like the one calling him out is the elitist and the person doing it wrong. I'm not perfect when it comes to Darkside myself, I toggle it off between pulls and sometimes forget to reapply it immediately, but as soon as I realize it's up for the rest of the fight, no matter if it's trash or a boss.

Sera, again, you don't carry people in DF. The content is designed for people of that item level. Just because you over gear it, doesn't mean you're "carrying" the guy who just meets the minimum. All you're doing now is grasping at straws.

The content is designed for people of that item level. Just because you over gear it, doesn't mean you're "carrying" the guy who just meets the minimum.

Minimum item level has nothing to do with carrying someone. When the run would have gone smoother and faster without you, you got carried. If the party would have been better off with someone at the minimum ilvl doing only autoattacks and following mechanics, you got carried. If you're a dps and only doing 10% of the damage for a DPS check in a 4 man dungeon, you're getting carried.
