    As much as I, on one side, would really like to see relic armor, if only because it's customizable, that would also mean we're likely to drop any longer-term interest in newly created gear, appearance-wise at the least, in new dungeon, raid, and casual raid contents.

    Additionally, if it's anything like the regular relic has been, especially the worst, imo, step to date (200-210), then no, please no.

    Sometimes it gets me wondering... are we really looking for a new feature? Or are we solely looking for an excusable time sink. I'd expect the latter from a developer, as it's a necessity to them, but from players? Feature-wise, what does relic armor uniquely accomplish?

    If it's in the same vein as the current Anima step as far as "stat customization" goes it will accomplish absolutely nothing other then being a glamour gear choice. Slightly higher stats then most gear and being beaten out slightly higher with Savage Raid gear in the same vein as Relic weapons compared to Midan Savage weapons I feel is underwhelming. And then an expansion comes and it becomes worthless again.

    If it would accomplish anything it would be rerunning old content to pad out the game. Which is what I would like to avoid. If we must run content for stuff can it at least be relevant?

    As for the Ex Primal idea...I'll pass. It would be pretty much farm Primal for 2% drop instead of Mount. Which would make it the same as before. Thus more padding.

    Plus when you make it a grind there is really no lore background behind it. And if your armor and weapon has no lore/story to it...it is less interesting. I much prefer knowing "powerful thing wielded stick" instead of "here's your dumb stick go nuts".

    I could be fine with that. And I think it's a reasonable challenge; neither as tough as raids, nor as easy as any content below Ex trials. Of course, for some that might still be too easy, so perhaps providing a further customization for taking on greater challenge (as a purely optional thing) might be in order.
