Back from a long break, looking for a new home

Hi all,

Not really sure if this is the place to post this, but here goes..

I recently started playing again after taking about a year long break. My FC is toast and I can't accomplish anything on my current server (Zalera) Duty Finder never fills and I can't get anyone to join Party Finder. So I'm wondering what other servers are more active or have a wider variety of levels so I can advance my characters and get caught up? I am currently at level 52 (BLM). Spent the majority of my time crafting before HW so my DoM and DoW aren't very high aside from that job. I just want to play the game again and not have to wait around for an hour and a half to start one dungeon run lol

You can always come to Cactuar! We're pretty friendly here, but if you're looking to do end-game raiding, you won't find much of that on our server. :<

duty finder times are shared among all server in the same data server. you were probly just queueing for old stuff or it was late at night/morning.

as for party finder, you can use this to see how many parties are recruiting on their party finder right now (or close to it anyway), good measure to see how active people on that server are. just change server name to whichever server youre interested with

Jenova is a generally active and friendly server. Always something going on in Party Finder and the Aether Data Center is relatively large so queues are never generally an issue. Also we have one of the most profitable markets if you're a crafter and gatherer so that's another positive. I'm happy I got in before the obligatory Gilgamesh and Balmung recommendations.

Before you jump ship, I'd encourage you to post around in the Zalera forums. You might find people on your server to play with over there. From what others have posted here, Zalera has a decent community, but since the server is smaller you may have to look a little more for it.

before transferring anywhere make an alt and check out some of these servers : Gilgamesh, Sargatanas, Balmung (same data center when it comes to DF, however their PF's and FC's are pretty much active).
Servers I would recommend are : Hyperion, Excalibur (make sure you create an character there in the early mornings since the rest of the day both of them are character creation restricted)
If you can't get on there you could always try Leviathan, even so our PF sucks most of the time but our DF queue's are quick, even as DPS lol. We do have plenty of active FC's tho.
