- Wait times of over 60 min for any PVP matches
- Frontlines (only content that seems to actually queue) is mostly PVE, not PVP
- PVP gear is pointless
- Feast scoring is pointless (attain a score, don't play again and your score remains the same)

Switching GC allegiance may help. On my data center there is a large imbalance with the most popular GC having queue times of 1-2 hours, but the least popular one is 1-20 minutes.
The gear being pointless critique is something they will hopefully work out at some point, replacing morale with a different kind of bonus that does something.
Queues are not being kind to me today. Usually get in around 30 minutes, it's more like an hour today though.
Before the gear had an efficent "Morale" stat, that compared to how it works now... meh, they could even remove it and put the old gear at an higher ilv.
Anyway if they put a pvp gear obtenible via pvp, this will discourage pvp newcomers because aside of a lack of personal experience, they will have too a lack of gear :/
The PvP gear is actually well-itemized for maxing out your i150 sync'd stats, since it tends to lack PvP junk stats (like Acc and Parry) and concentrate gobs of Crit/Det/SkSp.
This is not the same thing as the gear having actual value specific to PvP, but especially for alt jobs (where you might not have or want to supply a large amount of PvE gear), the Wolf Mark gear does at least have some useful qualities.
I think most games are moving away from gear-based PvP advantages because it discourages entry into a minority activity even more. That leaves open the common question of whether it's better to make a system appealing to tourist newcomers, or try to make it depthy and satisfying for dedicated veterans at the expense of putting up a wall to newcomers. (I don't have the answer)
The last few days I've waited 1hr+ and nothing. It's a shame I like PVP and would rather spend my time doing PVP for my tome grinding than doing dungeons.
Twin Adders, Rank 24 and I usually queue between 7-10 pm est (the busy hours) on Sargatanas. It's just frustrating it seems like no matter when you do it nothing ever pops but I guess I'll just keep trying.
I'll say, it takes forever to get into the Feast =/.
I'm currently spending more time semi-afking waiting for the DF than actually playing... I'm sorry but I don't want to waste my time, paying a sub, to spend 4 hours in queue to see a 24 men match ping. Grats SE.
And now I have to work, what is the deal? You came home, and you spent your whole freetime to do a single pvp run? Because of the GC restrictions and the "lore" excuse?
Remember when Yoshida was showing this:
The last dev answer was ONE YEAR AGO (see here http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post3263865). In one year, two new pvp modes released, a new expansion and the feast, you still can't allow it, it's seriously a joke.
And this:
So I'm being pragmatic, I don't want to spend all my free time in queue to hope to see my pvp pings because it's not fun, at all. After playing this game since the beta, I will end my subscription if nothing is quickly done.
