i don;t understand something. Why will we get crowns? We will be kings and queens?
And this reindeer outfits are terrible. Ugliest thing EVER.

I just don't get why people are so against using large creatures as mounts. And don't even say "it's becoming WoW!" because we all know that's not true. As long as the monsters don't get obnoxious elemental effects and become all multi-colored I think we'll be fine and well within the realm of what's acceptable for FFXIV.

The "It's not traditional FF!" excuse doesn't really hold much weight either anymore. FF is not a series that strictly sticks to only tradition and nothing else. There are new features or new takes on old features with every iteration, the series wouldn't be able to last long without doing so. Especially for an MMO, this game needs to branch out and do everything it can to keep people interested.

If the monster is big enough for me to throw a saddle on and ride, outside of lore reasons (like NMs or Primals), I don't see why we shouldn't be able to. I mean a drake is big enough to ride and any race of character can fit on it, so it only makes sense for us to make use of it as a mount. Hell they could even make a quest out of it since it may not be a company issued mount. The concept actually fits a little better into FFXIV's lore than anything since Ishgard's keeping their monopoly on Chocobos. In light of that, adventurers should be free to get creative.

That magitek armor looks so damn amazing, MUST............HAVE. Have to agree with Arcell about the mounts, let people ride whatever the hell they want, although hopefully chocobos of varying colors will be added sometime (maybe after breeding?).

Pretty sure it is a rental, it's most likely the room at the Inn they have planned for 1.21 rather than company housing.

Hm yes, it looks very familliar, i remember being in a room similar to the
one shown in the picture from one of the Main Scenario quests.

Of course it is empty Noomy, they haven't put furniture in it yet that will probably be made by the crafters! ^^
