At least when it was locked I had a chance to get some loot/Items
Now 8 people will role for all 4 items
And with my luck getting the right items is really low..

I do think maybe they can have a few more pieces drop in those dungeons. 220 is the minimum, really, to get into and be successful at baseline content. The 230\240 gear is still on a weekly lockout so no one is getting that any faster. The 220 gear can become easier to obtain now.
I personally had better luck grinding the expert dungeons for gear so far.
It's 5 iLvL below, but usually, you can go as the class you want it for and not worry about loot competition, so if it drops, you get it. My own Midas runs, well...I didn't get a single item in 10 runs, so I kinda gave up on it.
In case of doubt, Void Ark gear pretty much rains from the sky these days and most content barely needs i205, so it's not hard to simply go in with min iLvL. Sure, it's slower, but it's better than getting frustrated over RNG or shelling out gillions.
The fights take like 7mins to clear, and you get to roll on 4 pieces of loot each time. Honestly, stop being impatient. You're not the only person in your group not getting the loot they need.
At this point I'm just gearing up alt jobs so it's not such a big deal, but I feel ya. I spent a couple of days trying to get a belt for my summoner and it wasn't in the cards.
Frustration from RNG is very understandable, especially if you rely on DF runs..
SE could introduce weekly Need-locks, so not being able to need on stuff after you've got something. This way you have a higher chance to get at least something in relatively few runs every week, but it's still farmable.
Took about 30 runs to get a pair of boots (15 per pedal on average). Did kind of make me wish they just turned into a 'pick a reward' at the end of the clear.
But then it took me only 4 to get my helm, because I was actually the lucky bastard that time.

In all honesty Alexander Midas loot isn't really something to grind for considering it's going to get replaced with Lore gear eventually when you have enough tomes to do so on your main class. For secondaries it'd be reasonable, but Weeping City of Mhach is also something to consider since it gives i230 gear on a weekly lockout, which is reasonable. Mostly I'd probably do Midas runs for accessories that I need for my secondaries then focus on i230 WCoM gear in terms of progression.
Just buy the ilvl 220 HQ green.. there rng solved.
