This one depends heavily on your 2 FoFs. Your DPS starts really high at end of your 1st FoF, then it dips down to less than 1.2k until your 2nd FoF is up and it will go up to the average DPS. If you use all 3mins, it will dip your DPS by a lot more due to your 2 FoFs uptime. This is still very dependent on the crit rate you get at the end, of which is technically your bloat DPS.

You sir are completely wrong , my dps stay the same on A5 and Nidhogg X the only thing that changes is how much Quicker its killed. Im not sure if your aware of the calculator for SSS. In the 3min fights I maintain the same Dps , how ? Its simple and complex its a 3 min fight you have the same amout if time which equals the same amout of hits which equals the same DPS number. Your confusing yourself because they have 2 seperate HP pools thinking youll pull a different dps number when all your doing is pulling a different clear time with the same amount of dps within a 3 min window. You should rethink this for yourself and youll see that im correct.

Clear time affects your dps, because it affects how much uptime you have on your buffs in comparison to clear time.

For example, if you finish your dummy right after FoF, your dps will be higher than if you were to finish right before your FoF becomes available again.

You should only count the amount of time needed to clear and not the full 3mins. That's the purpose of DPS meter(Damage Per Second which is the average damage dealt within the time needed to clear). Do you use any parser for this? You will get different numbers for sure.

Im terribly sorry , I wrote my earlier statement in haste and you sir are correct and I will eat the Crow. However let me clarify , I play on Ps4 and have no access to dps meters like ACT although ive used them for years on EQ2 , but I do have Stone , Sea , Sky to test my strength against the dummy. There is a Stone, Sea, Sky app that will Calculate your dps if you type in the remaining time you had left over upon killing said dummy. My best parse on Nidhogg X was 1203dps according to the app because I had 40 sec left over in the allowed 3 min time frame. Im simply asking what other PLDs are getting on the same dummy as far as time left over. I dont care if people say use the A8 dummy Im asking what other PLDs are getting on the Nidhogg X dummy. Im not trying to debate how much better ACT or other meters are better , Im not trying to debate what dummy should or could be used , Im asking for PLD feed back on a very specific dummy in Stone , Sea , Sky - Nidhogg Extreme.

Im surprised that more PLDs dont wanna share thier dps numbers here , maybe most of you are not trying to stretch the class maybe most of you dont care lol, maybe you think we should be metal whipping posts that never dps. Id like to hear some feed back on you other PLDs dps , btw I did A8 dummy with 1120 dps with a ilv 235 weapon just got a 240 today gonna see how much i improve.

Hitting a dummy is not all that interesting nor impressive, especially with PLD's easy rotation. The only variables come from gear/food/pots/crit and none of those really have anything to do with stretching the class to its limits. A more interesting prospect would be how to maximize the use of PLD's toolkit for each situation/encounter, eg. when and what to tank, when to use each ability, what kind of 'dtps vs dps' ratio is worth it, and so on.

You will end up in the 1.1k+ range. I personally tested it once and I got 1140ish. This still depends heavily on the crit rng.

Update: another 2 parses. no pot and food.

Welcome to SE balance, they tried buffing it but it's still a coinflip between that and DRK currently, WAR remains untouched.
