Yesterday I made a post about adding the FFXV Chocobo simply because I don't care for the XIV version of the song, well I have a better idea! In the barding section, there could be an orchestration section. Here are the benefits of such an option. 1. People who get tired of the same song on the GC Chocobo can change it freely. 2. It would make the orchestrations even more useful for the entire playerbase, therefore enhancing the value. 3. This would encourage people to go back to older content. 4. You make orchestrations by crafting, so maybe it would encourage more people to craft. 5. Not having your favorite songs confined to a few places. You'd take them with you.

Which version though? There are at least two versions of the chocobo theme used in FFXIV - three if you count the chocobo training theme Or the Egg?, and five if you include the remixes of FFVII's Electric de Chocobo and Fiddle de Chocobo used in Gold Saucer for GATEs and Chocobo Racing respectively. The one you're probably referring to is Eorzea de Chocobo, the theme used for personal chocobo mounts, which I agree does get a bit grating after a while. But there is also Bo Down, the more 'Western' version used for rental chocobos and chocoporters, which I much prefer to Eorzea de Chocobo. So I can definitely understand where you're coming from Damian. Sadly though I don't see Soken changing this alas.

I understand there are several versions, but I'm talking about the one that is on the grand company chocobo. I just don't care for it, and honestly I evolved my idea to the point where its not even about that.

Its about a new content idea, that might actually help the community. I don't understand why you're fussing over that statement I made. I don't like the Chocobo themes in this game, thats an opinion. Why are you trying to make me change it?

The benefits of this feature would be great. EVERYONE has a grand company Chocobo, and you can already personalize it to any color, or combination of bardings you desire. You can even train your Chocobo. Now imagine if you could go one step further, and choose any song that you want to go with it. For example; lets say that you wanted to dress it up like shiva, imagine it with Shivas song at the same time! That would be cool! Or say you get the horde barding, and you want it to play Dragonsong! The possibilities are endless, and it would get MORE people to farm these, and if more people are farming these, more people will be in dungeons. More people will be partaking in the feature. It makes it accessible. Not everyone has a house, or a room, and most people don't spend much time in the inn.

Yes, because being able to select your chocobo theme means I would be able to always have it on the best version ever
