Right now I am starting to be Mt for a raid group.
Since my gear was below the others I did offtanking.
I worked really hard on the gear and learned the fight by offtanking and watching.
Then last Saturday, our last try for the day the group decided to let me Mt for the first time.
We pulled through everything and got really going and then, in the end we cleared it the very first time.
The group decided then to keep me, since I was being tested if I fit in the group.
They tried Alexander for months without a clear and now we were able to do it, with me now 2 weeks on board.
Tanking Odin when he was me since I had gotten the killing blow on him the last time he spawned. I was a paladin at the time and had the Odin armor and Zantetsuken glamours on as well. It was amazing.
The boss fights in Coil were alot of fun and I also liked the level 58 Dark Knight fight.

My vote would be the lvl 50 DRK fight.
I suppose it's the story buildup, the fact I was playing it alone and the fact that you don't repeat it a lot. Most other bosses in this game are kind of a blur in my head, with the indicators and mechanics clear- and deeply ingrained in the brain, but the actual boss being just a grey, fuzzy cloud.
Fighting and defeating Ultima (trial not the prae one) for the first time, it was absolutely perfect. The music, the battle and everything was just so damn good. That fight alone basicly made my gametime all worth it back then. Still one of my favourite fights today.
As of now the only ones that managed to give me the same sort of hype while fighting them were ravanna (ex) and Thordan (ex).
Hard chaotic battles are my favourite, pair them with some awesome music and i'm just completely sold.
And in my opinion the 3 best fights.
Odin, went there unsync withb FC buddy thinking it would be a piece of cake like the others primals....i still don't understand what happened that day, we were all alive and then there was a bright light and them the floor xD
Never laught that hard on the game xD
Oh and Ozma, 1st time I was like "oh my god it's fucking Ozma, we are all gonna die" but in fact, the fight was very smooth (contrary to Forgal who kicked my ass so hard i could not sit for a week ^^")
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.

I've officially made Thornmarch my favorite fight thus far. I can't figure out how to properly express just how fun I find that fight despite its chaos. I haven't done Odin yet. Getting my ass handed to me by a giant moogle is one thing. Getting chopped in half is another lol.Getting my booty kicked by Good King Moggle Mog XII multiple times in a row was absolutely hilarious to me, and I loved every second of it. I also really loved the Odin battle, I fought him for the first time yesterday and it was chaotic and crazy and awesome. And the Steps of Faith, walking along a bridge, fighting an absolutely massive dragon - what's not to love. Though I must say, the most memorable fight so far was Lahabrea in the Praetorium. Not the battle itself per say-it was piss easy (which was a bit of a letdown, actually), but how I felt during that fight. Never before have I felt so miserable and sad for beating up a baddie. It all ended up being okay, ofcourse, but I had no clue what would happen to you know who after beating up Lahabrea. I won't forget that feeling anytime soon.
Then again, I do tend to get too emotionally involved
Speaking of Castrum fights, and this needs to go in the healer confession thread; but against Livia, I had tunnel vision. I never forgot when she kidnapped Minfillia and slaughtered my friends, a Sylph in particular. I waived off all healing responsibility and just unloaded on her. It was the only time in this game I actually wanted to tank. I even told my group, "She's mine!" A VERY satisfying kill, but not so much as fun as it was serving justice. Getting too emotionally involved? Ohhhh, I can definitely relate there!
Ultima normal ia always fun if you don't kill any laser turrets, he just dies too fast these days.

Sephirot extreme and Thordan extreme.
Before when we had the ilvl 210 gear, I would still wipe to Thordan. When the gear got upgraded to a higher ilvl, i decided to clear Thordan extreme. It was fun wiping but eventually I cleared it.
After i cleared sephirot extreme, i went to farming parties. I would always laugh like crazy when we wipe before add phase or pretty close to killing it.
Am i crazy? XD
