What are some of your most fun/memorable battles

Whether against bosses, Primals, PvP. FATEs, elite marks, or what have you. What are some that really brought some smiles to your faces?

I'm finally knee deep in 2.x content and wrapped up Thornmarch HM (I guess there's no normal mode?). Gotta say, I've never had so much fun wiping. The music reminded me of 'This is Halloween' from a Nightmare Before Christmas, and every bit as chaotic. Who'd have thought moogles can be so tough?

Anywho, I normally dread grouping but this one had such an easy going atmosphere. No one raged at the two wipes before completion, we all just kind of laughed at the derps. It was so fun I ran it three more times just for the hell of it as I wasn't really after any glams. You have to love experiences like these ones!

By far coil has been the best.
Out of all the dungeons, probably have had the most fun in Aquapolis. Our FC are really enjoying doing maps again, and the dungeon itself is fun to see how far you can go
Most memorable, if it was fun or not ... was titan back when had to get Relic. Level 90 gear and had to use food with vitality as my poor Bard could not sustain the stomps, lol

Right after we completed our Zetas, my friends and I did a WHM/WHM/BRD/BRD run of Pharos Sirius (before the expansion).
Tons of fun.

Best battles are always those in a premade with my FC buddies. Favorites are doing Lost City HM and, on the first boss, pointing our Neuro Squamae ghosts at each other rather than away, and bring the vulnerability cloud to each other, and a friend and me doing WAR/DRK for T4 farms. :3 And any time the four (sometime 5, if our non-FC friend comes along) of us do Void Ark.

Haukke normal gave me..not exactly a smile, more like a rugged sense of satsifaction? xD
Was in there as a healer with 3 people who belonged together who did everything in their power to make it impossible to clear the dungeon. Forcing us through anyway felt so good, I still remember it.

Well, actually, Coil in general, although 10-13 were my favorite. Not even any special one-time memories, the mechanics, the visuals, the story, it all was just perfect!

In HW, I just keep running The Aery once I hit 55 because I love the dungeon. Just, mechanics, music, everything right up my alley again^^
Same with the newly introduced Wiping City - got my loot during the first run on Tuesday last week, kept re-entering all week because I enjoy it x)
My favorite memory from there? An Ozma run in which our party was 100% fine, both others were 100% dead, and without communicating at all, 8 random people managed to spread out the meteors AND kill Ozma before the 6 adds become too much x)

For trials: I have a fond memory of Sephi EX when I joined a static training phase 3, and I was confident in my knowledge in the fight...only to walk off the edge right as p3 started.
My complete and utter disbelief in voicechat (WHAT. WHAT JUST HAPPENED. NO WAY.....YOU CAN FALL OFF?!!" ) had the entire party in tears^^

Oooh, and, this is old though, our FC Halloween run of Ifrit HM^^
Everyone was in the ghost costumes, so our HP ranged from 1,2k to..2,something on tanks, I think?
We survived the big blast with like 4 HP, but it was a lot of fun ;D

Getting my booty kicked by Good King Moggle Mog XII multiple times in a row was absolutely hilarious to me, and I loved every second of it. I also really loved the Odin battle, I fought him for the first time yesterday and it was chaotic and crazy and awesome. And the Steps of Faith, walking along a bridge, fighting an absolutely massive dragon - what's not to love.

Though I must say, the most memorable fight so far was Lahabrea in the Praetorium. Not the battle itself per say-it was piss easy (which was a bit of a letdown, actually), but how I felt during that fight. Never before have I felt so miserable and sad for beating up a baddie. It all ended up being okay, ofcourse, but I had no clue what would happen to you know who after beating up Lahabrea. I won't forget that feeling anytime soon.

Then again, I do tend to get too emotionally involved

as we were selling the primals, first clears or weekly clears for the ilvl90 weapon/token, sometimes we were as silly and went totally naked in there. Coil was a blast too, especially old coil aka T1-5. I think that's the only time we wiped 5 full hours due to twisters and didn't rage quit lol.
