Uh, when exactly has Dragoon ever been a crit master before in an FF game? I don't recall that at all. o_OHmmm, let's see:
Something that's been around since before I was born and found in numerous FF titles and other games/stories

Ya, you're right. There's nothing "new" about the pet for DRG idea, nothing at all.
The pet is not new to the Final Fantasy MMO genre. The original Dragoon concept found in other FF titles is new.Hmmm, let's see:

Try to use a little bit of context, good sir.
In the meantime, I'm gonna plug this here....
Actually, I've wondered if we'll ever get some kind of ability like Trance...it looks pretty badass.

I'll pass on a pet for Dragoon.

When they mentioned it in one of the earlier interviews, they were talking about it being the most potent critical hit jobs, but if they add in a wyvern, that's eunuchism right there

My character, Feral Ren, reminds me of Freya. I do not want a pet. Ever.
This. A thousand times this. I've been saving up Grade 3 and 4 Materia for the upcoming PvP content, and I really do not want a gimped Dragoon.

No thanks to a pet wyvern. It was a neat concept in XI but I'd rather have a strong base class than have to be balanced around keeping a side-kick alive.

I don't want a pet Wyvern, I want Dragoon-related abilities, like Freya had in FFIX, breath weapons and (hopefully) Dragonheart from FF Tactics, (instante Reraise!) and new ones they come up with. I want a strong Dragoon, like Kain.
Say no to pet!
Oh god, Yoshi, please. All I ever wanted to wield was a spear. ;_; Don't take away my power for a gimmick already done!
