I would prefer dragoon without pet, but if they can they could make it something that you can decide, example

You are soloing so you call your wyvern, become a bit weaker and fight with it to help you kill the mob, you are in a party and want to do as much damage as possible then you absorb your wyvern and become stronger, but if they dont want to add an option like that they can just forget about the wyvern and make dragoon OP.

jobs are for party not solo. so there is no need for a pet ever

I'd rather see a pet sideline for all classes than dedicated pet classes. I'd rather Dragoon stayed on a similar footing to the rest of the DoW.

Yeah, given that we've seen chocobos fighting alongside in battle... it's not a stretch to think that maybe accompanying pets will be a Thing.

Also, Rau, well played. *removes hat* However comma meaningful pause, the vast majority of canon points to a wyvernless dragoon. =P

I do not want a pet holding me back, like it did before.

they are bringing out swimming and underwater ruins. when they do i hear you will be getting a pet dolphin for your MRD
