Insulting people for their opinion is unjustified. That is called an ad hominem attack and is really like bullying.

Name one single person who is waiting to play FFXIV because there is no jump feature now.

Reiterating the statement that it is an MMO standard is no valid justification for it being in an MMO.

The fact is is that it is not needed and MANY people believe that it will negatively impact their game experience because it WILL turn Final Fantasy into just another MMO with people hopping around in towns.

If you can't understand that then that is your own short coming.

It is impossible to expect anyone to respect anyone else's opinion. Especially in an MMO forum.

The reason why people have posted their concerns is because many of them want restrictions placed on this new jump feature.

There are many that do not want people bunny hopping all over town for various reasons.

It is very sad people say that they will make a video or jump around to annoy people.

I really hope that they do read some of these posts and realize what a HUGE mistake they are making if they add jump with no restrictions or limitations.

Many people do not want a duplication of other features of MMO's without justification.

This makes them worse than people who are against it or would feel their game experience hindered by it since it clearly would draw in the type of playerbase who would go out of their way to annoy people, which is exactly why a lot of people didn't want to see XIV turn into "just another MMO".

Lol. How in the world will adding an insignificant game mechanic turn this game into every other MMO? Do you even read what you say after you type it? You know what's turning FFXIV into every other MMO? If anything, that will be 2.0, and here you are crying about jumping. I swear to god some people on here make me ashamed to be a fan of this series, this is, and always will be one of the saddest arguments I have ever come across, ever.
