Wow.
I'm sorry, but until the developers step up and say, "We are adamant with regard to this feature and no longer wish to hear players' thoughts on the matter," the 'battle' has not been 'won' and the only people who need to get out if they don't like it are people who think they have any right to tell people to stop expressing their opinions, for or against any possible adjustment to features already implemented or not, on a development feedback forum.
More than that: you know what? I don't like it, but I think you'll find many such as myself who don't particularly want the feature are willing to discuss ways to accommodate it without it being offensive, or even how people who dislike the idea of jumping being added might actually be able to get behind its implementation.
It's why these forums exist. Should some of the people don't want jumping tone it down some, too? Yes, maybe - a few of them are using pretty foul language. But the same ought go for both sides: keep to expressing your opinions and giving reasonable arguments; "Majority says shut up" just makes you look like a playground bully.
