I've never seen so many people nag and complain over them implementing a jump feature.

"Can I have a feature to turn off jump so I don't see it spammed?" Really? And square is gonna cater this jump feature they are spending time implementing so YOU can't see it. Wow, people amaze me

and I have never seen so many people nag, wanting a pointless feature to an MMORPG, the key thing to look at is does FFXIV "need" jump, and the answer is no, there for the decision should have been clear and easy.

Did you not get the hint that we will have zones and stuff? I don't see what the problem is. I could care less either way, it doesn't affect me the least bit if someone is spamming jump. I mean people spam /laugh all the time, you don't see me b****ing about that on the forums.

My only complaint with adding a jump feature is that while it is in most MMO's it is not in any of the main Final Fantasy titles. The dev's constantly stress that the game should have a FF feel to it, and this might detract from that a bit. I just hope that if they do add it that it won't make the game look cartoonish.
On a side note I wonder how this will affect the jump ability of the dragoon?

jumping interaction i'm all for. need to vault over that fence no problem walk up to it and interact with it, need to scale that ledge no problem move up to it and interact with it.

i DO NOT want the dumb ass space bar jump, which serves no purpose but to piss more mature non Ritalin injected players to the breaking point.

Never heard of Final Fantasy before FFXI? That sucks, it's a good series, you should look into it -- Even Mystic Quest was a good game with great music.

That's not the case, you people just find every little way to complain about NOT adding jump. Why do you detest something so much? Just accept that they are adding it.

PS I've played them, but coming from you group of people, no one is never right.

I hear this final fantasy feel all the time from ya'll, comparing to the rest of the series.
but then again, I also hear that you can't compare it to non MMO games. Make up your mind what we are gonna compare this one to
