If the materials belonged to them they can do whatever they want with it tbh, a tip would be nice. If they asked me to craft something without supplying the mats just to sell it, I wouldn't craft for them again.

You sound like most crafters tbh. I know people in our FC that are the more active in crafting always seem broke but always willing to help out in crafts.
Sure there are some crafters out there that like to sell stuff for silly amounts but for the most part the crafting community is far better then most.
The undercutters are most likely not crafters.

I'd probably make the same item a second time and undercut them tbh. :P

I found myself being taken advantage of as well - not by FC members, but by someone I had met through PF asking for help crafting HQ leve items. I decided to help him out and crafted his items for nothing. We ended up friending each other.
Over the next few weeks, I would get random tells asking for more HQ items and I helped when I was free. Eventually, the items became more complex such as HQ Aurum Regis Ingots, Astral Silks, etc (back before 3.3 was a thing). Never did the person give me any sort of tip - at the same time, I would see my HQ items up for sale on the MB for 450,000-500,000 a piece.
The straw that broke the camel's back - one evening I received a tell from this person. This time, he actually offered to pay me to craft, I don't know maybe he felt guilty or something.
So, I agreed and met him. Crafted all of his HQ items, and then traded them. I figured he would add the tip at the trade, but nope, nothing. Instead of getting into a discussion/argument, I decided to just walk away. But, I decided I would never craft for him again.
Over the course of the next week, I got 4 more tells asking me to craft more items for him. Finally, I blacklisted him.

If you make stuff for someone with your own materials, make sure you're doing it to help them get started (knowing they will use it).
A 190 item is end game and something they should work towards. If they have bad gear, they probably aren't in need of 190items. If they have good gear (melded etc) then maybe they wouldn't need you to make it for them for free?
It's a very generous atitude of yours and a pretty shitty of the other person.
I would just mentally blacklist that person and never craft for them again, unless mats provided.
