You're telling me it took long to level to 15? Getting to 15 takes no time at all.Maybe SE should make it so that if you're levelling one class to 30 and then need to level another class to 15 to unlock the Job, it instantly pushes that class to 15. I have an alt on Tonberry (more people online during my evenings. It's surreal) and getting GLA to 30 was fine... but pushing CNJ to 15 so I could unlock PLD was horrible and boring. It instantly puts a stop to your progression through the story (because not having a Job at 30 and appearing in Brayflox+ as a class is heavily frowned upon).

The point is that it's horrible and boring.
Unrelated, SE really need to give WAR and DRK their own Provoke ability, rather than have it cross-classed from GLA.

Its leveling up from the beginning its not suppose to be endgame fun.
The point of the ARMOURY system is to cross class abilities from other classes.

And yet only Crafting Classes make full use of it, while SE seems to treat it for W/M classes like they treat Star Ocean 3's ending, the elephant in the room. Jobs have less slots, AST/DRK/MCH don't give any abilities to other Jobs an ROG only grants abilities to other Classes.
Meanwhile people are concerned about button bloat and how it affects Playstation players, yet SE tunes the encounter under the assumption that everytank has provoke, (and if Gordias was any indication that every Melee has Blood for Blood an every caster/ranged has Raging Strikes)
I don't lie the idea of level jumps, but you have to admit that Cross-classing for Combat classes was implemented poorly
and TBH I though the point was to let people use more than one Job without rolling up separate characters

Which is insofar ironic as that for crafters, the cross class skills are the only skills unique to the respective class - everything else is completely identical.
I would argue that this is...somewhat badly implemented as well.

I've already made my point and adamantly stand by it, so I'm not going to argue about making Job acquisition easier (since to me, it's an okay idea. Just make it mandatory to do Hall of Novice and Hunting Log 1 as that level 15 class, before you can gain entry to Duty Finder content).
As for the Armoury system and cross-classing... sure. For the most part, I'm fine with it. However, why exactly don't WAR and DRK have their own version of Provoke (SE could patch in a Provoke type ability as a second level 15 ability, like ROG)? easily one of the most important abilities in Full Party content.

I 100% do not want this implemented into FFXIV it ruins games.

You know, thinking again, I retract my statements on the game's story. It's basically okay, pretty good compared to most MMOs.
But yeah, I still say that any level-boost potion should come in the form of an EXP multiplier rather than a genuine jump; that idea fixes pretty much all of the major flaws in the idea of a level booster in this game, aside from what a previous poster mentioned about longevity.
