[Question] How to ask for recommended features

Personally (and this is in keeping with official Forum etiquette) is that is best to check if what you're wanting to suggest has already been asked before and responded to by the development team (by using the forum search), as if they've already stated yes, no or maybe about it, they will just ignore your suggestions. Then if there is a current thread asking the same thing it's probably better to just 'like' that thread and add a post to it detailing your own suggestions on that idea, rather than doubling up so to speak, that way the community team has an easier task of 'separating the wheat from the chaff' so to speak.

Finally, the forum is divided into sections specific to various parts of the game, such as lore, battle system, classes and Jobs, the Gold Saucer etc, so if your idea is specific to one of those areas, it's better to post in there than in, say, General Discussion, and certainly not here in Website Feedback. If your idea does not easily fit into one of those areas, then technically General Discussion is satisfactory for that.

A last piece of advice is when you post an idea, don't expect the development team to personally respond to your ideas - that doesn't mean the community team does not read them. They just don't give personalized responses, they certainly don't do it if you put "DEVS' PLEASE READ" demands in the thread title. So a little reality is needed.

Either way, go ahead and post your suggestions and ideas - SE stated they always welcome player ideas to make this game even better, you just have to.. borrowing Hydaelyn's mantra; "Hear, feel, think."
