Hildibrand is still some of my favorite content in the game. While I do regret that we have only been getting 2 quests per patch for the duration of Heavensward, I don't think that the quality of the content has gone down. There's just less of it.

I do really want more trials for Hildibrand though. As people have said, a fight with the Black Waltzes would be a great bookend to the current story and could be reasonably fit in. The fact that there was a question at Fan Fest dedicated solely to a Godbert Manderville trial proves that people are still interested in the Mandervilles in general. Whatever happens, in Stormblood I hope we're atleast given a bit more bonus content like this in general.
