In Game FC Forums

I don't know where the best place to put this would be, so if its in the wrong area I apologize humbly.

I was recently chatting with my FC about setting up external forums for news and communication. The company board really allows me about a tweet's worth of info, which feels limited. I know on the lodestone that there is a forum specific to FCs but I doubt a lot are used because they are kind of hidden.

It would be nice if we could access these Free Company forums from in-game, maybe from the FC Menu. It would make communicating with people in different timezones in the same FC a tad easier, in my opinion; one wouldn't have to hope one catches someone to ask for something to be crafted or for advice or something, and one would have a much easier time connecting to higher powers within the FC.

FC Leaders would also probably have an easier time communicating with the company itself, as well as raid leaders and event planners. Yes, there are external methods to carry this out; there is the Free Company forums on the lodestone itself, and there is the option of going to Enjin or something...but you run into the same problem as with these forums: if it's not in-game, not everyone has easy access to it*.

*In this case, "easy access" I'll define as "able to be accessed without having to leave the client".

I actually created a thread go this long ago. I've been hoping for this for a long time. FC's need this and a host of QOL updates to really enhance that part of the game.

It's ridiculous we only have 120 letter limit on the FC Message Board, I would welcome this.

The FC forum on the Lodestone is far too hidden. I posted to my FC's forum on the Lodestone around a month ago, just to see who was looking at it, and not one person noticed. All they would need to do is have a forum link somewhere on the FC page that opened an in-game browser and linked to that forum. The forum structure is already created, we just need a more visible way to access it.

It's not all that hidden. Just tell your FC members about it. It's not well advertised, which is a not different than hiding it outright.

People have 0 reasons to login every day to the lodestone just to check FC forums, or event calendar for that matter, and this specially for console players. There has to be a better integration of lodestone features with the actual game, as it stands the lodestone is completely foreign to the game, it might as well be just a fansite.
