Occasional Stutter

I've got two GTX 980s in SLI and I can play the game on max settings without issues 95% of the time. Occasionally, however, sometimes when there's heavy effects (sometimes when there's not-- like when I'm activating mudras) the game will freeze for a second or two before resuming it's normally smooth gameplay.

Anyone have any ideas? I've tried different graphical settings and as I've said, it works perfectly fine most of the time.

Someone with a little more experience may chime in here, but I recall some people having issues with SLI. I know some have gone to single-card, others deal with the issues. I had heard that the DX1 client may have fixed some of those issues, so that might help if you're not already using it.

It's also possible that your issue isn't GPU related. What are the rest of your specs?

Running a single GTX 960. Have experienced this since 3.3. It is very intermittent and can happen any time it seems.
I haven't been able to pinpoint what is causing it on my system.

i7 4790, 8GB Ram,
Standard Desktop settings at 1440p.
Hopefully it isn't an nVidia Driver issue.
