New Idle Animations?

So since I've been playing as my Bard for Weeping City, it got me thinking, I would love to be able to play my harp while I wait for people, But I cannot, T.T

So I thought maybe it would be nice if SE added in some Idle Animations instead of just idle poses. We already have a few animations, that continue, like the dances, mostly, but nothing that is class/job specific. I think it would be a cool idea. Does anyone agree?

Here is a list of what could possibly be done:

PLD: Shine their Sword/Shield
WAR: Shine their Axe
DRK: Shine their Great Sword
MNK: Shadowboxing
DRG: Baton/Spear practice, like spinning and hand moves
NIN: Hand signs
BRD: Plays the harp
MCH: Targeting practice, complete with a little disk or something to shoot
WHM: Practice healing, like manipulating Aether or somthing?
AST: Playing with their cards, either shuffling, doing tricks, etc
BLM: Performing a little magic display, like mini fireworks or ice sculptures
SMN/SCH:Actively writing in their grimoire/codex
NOTE:

SMN/SCH would mostly likely be the same since most poses are class based over job specific based

I wouldn't mind this. At the very least, something that's also always irked me, is the gender specific idles. Why in the world do male 'goons get the classic stance while I have to look like a preping a stripper pole? Com'mon, at least give us that choice.

Probably the same reason why bunny hats are not for males, females can not have the male sundrop dance etc. SE follows this odd gender guideline where sometimes its oke for certain gender to have a masculine/feminine trait and other times its not oke. An example is the Thavnairian dance its very feminine dance that can be used by both genders.

Personaly, I want them to open up everything, every pose, every glamour outfit and let the players decide how to dress, emote their character. But as you probably already know, whenever someone ask for these things, the special snowflakes and biggots come out to defend their reason on why you shouldnt dress/emote your character.

On-topic:

I like your idea, but I do not think the 3 tank classes should same the same idle animation. Maybe the Paladin can practice some defensive movements, the Warrior can do something with their axe or drink a big tankard of ale etc. Having those 3 classes do the same thing is a little unfair.

Still I like the rest and hope they do such a thing.

This. When I unlocked Lancer I was so disappointed to see that I didn't get Kain's badass stance.

mnk shadow boxing, all i'm picturing is Zell Dinct and how i want to just pull out a base ball bat and go Slogger happy on his ass, but yeah Brd's should be able to play a tune, i mean its their job isn't it, you can barely make them do it during a pt, so why not try to make them do it in towns

Co-signing on this. I know others have made this request in the past (myself included) but it's fallen on deaf ears. I know it would require some work to create the animation but I cant imagine it would tax the system anymore than people who idle while using /dance emotes for hours on end.

I'd like to play songs while on BRD and read/write in my codex as SCH. Really like your AST idea too.

That would be great... The SCH/SMN could interact with pets too, if they're out.
