lindblum and mumble

hey guys, im playing on besaid server and noticed that almost every LS is using mumble. Is it server thing only or general trend in FF14? U using mumble/ventrillo etc just as much?
Asking u Lindblum coz if i were to ever change servers (assuming it'll be possible) Id go here

It's very common here as well. I'm not sure if it's almost all, but many do from what I've seen.

Im sorry im new, waiting until 1.20 to make my new character, but was wondering myself about this and just wondering, how exactly is mumble free?

The cheapest server i found that they offer is a 10 slot one for one month and that costs $4

unless if you are talking about a public 8 man server, those are free, but team speak and vent offer those for free as well

The LSs that I am in use Dolby Axon if they use chat at all. But I'm not on Lindblum so feel free to discount my response.
