Wouldn't it be great if we could just use our stables or something to change. . . . .

Wouldn't it be great if we could just use our stables or some other form of color changing to change our racing chocobo's color? I personally think that the current system based on breeding alone sucks. I've spent over 500k mgp and found the right abilities and stats, but I hate my color.....

    Opinions more than welcome.

i hate the color of my perfect-stat chocobo too xD

all i know is this old statement from march 2015 from a german community manager, who said they want to look into it if and how they can allow us to change the color of the racing chocobo. but nothing happened since then.

    I fully agree. . .

Does anyone else share our opinions? Or does no one care? We should make this a thread to push to Square-Enix and Yoshida to do something!

While I agree I would prefer more control over the colour of my race chocobo so few people even participate in Chocobo Racing any more that I doubt there are many to voice the sentiment.

I wish there was a way. There is a point where you get locked into a breeding rut with the same color and simply cannot get out. Why not make dye that costs MGP? Heck make it random, I don't care I just want the option to change to anything else!

Yeah, I support this too, problem is as someone said there are just so many few people doing chocobo racing at the moment nobody cares. Maybe if they added something relevant to spend MGP on.

    I support this! /thumbsup
We have to deal RNG with breeding stats and weather preferences (BTW why do I have to pray to rngesus for foul weather? but that is a whole nother issue for another thread). And with a MAX covering of 10 just doesn't cut it for me.
Let us change the color of the chocobo feathers somehow. Similar to process of chocobo stable feeding the chocobo a combination of food items sold on market. Maybe a combination of items sold from the Tack(?) and Feed Trader for some MGP and then talk to Race Chocobo Trainer with an option of food feeding somewhere there. Similar process like stable but with different people/items/currency used.

fair weather isn't THAAT bad. a fair weather chocobo loses 10% speed while raining, while a foul weather bird loses only 5% speed while sunshine - but it's 50% of the time sunshine and only 25% rain (and 25% neutral weather) - that means a fair weather bird is 75% of the time at full speed while a foul weather bird only 50% of the time. the only real downside is you have to accelerate longer with a fair weather bird to reach fullspeed again after a rainshower than a foul weather bird has after sunshine.

Is this really accurate? I'd swear foul chocobos aren't slowed in any weather.

you are not right, but i was wrong ^^/ after i read my source again ( Link ) i realized i have missunderstood it back than when i have read this ^^; so sorry for the stuff i wrote :x

correct is Fair weather chocobos lose 10% speed at rain and Foul weather Chocobos lose 5% speed at rain and none of them lose speed at sunshine or neutral weather... :O but why do i think my missunderstanding sounds so more balanced? xD
