May as well.....
Story : 2.4-3.2 is amazing, 3.3 was good as well but very predictable, the new VA were much better even if I did have to adjust & I am excited to see what comes next.
Map : The zones themselves are beautiful however it is full of dead space with little reason to ever revisit anywhere unless you're hunting or they add a Beast Tribe. Flying overall is very fun, no complaints.
Dungeons : Too few in number. I personally don't hate any of the dungeons(maybe Hullbreaker hm) but the 60 ones tend to get stale running them 120 times every patch.
Raids : Either too easy or too hard. Alexander has a bland story as well.
Trials: I have enjoyed them all with Ravana(ex) & Nidhogg being my favorites.
Ex Trials: Couldn't beat Thordan or Sephirot in PF when they were relevant but beat Ravana & Bismark in DF when they(Ravana) were relevant. I have yet to beat Sephi after 100s of wipes & now using DF my groups still struggle & fail. I think there is a difficulty jump, For non statics Thordan is just mechanic heavy so it's reasonable for people to screw up & 205 was the second strongest at the time but Sephirot requires a lot more co ordination especially in phase 3 & someone always messes up. Always. I think he could be a little more forgiving so random parties can win even if it takes 30 minutes of wiping for a mere 220 weapon, Ravana was "easily" doable with pugs but Sephirot isn't & both dropped 20 ilvl weaker weapons than the current highest. For the future maybe make it forgiving so if one person screws up everyone doesn't wipe, at least for the "20ilvl lower weapon". Nid I have yet to try bc sephirot has left a scar on me.
Crafting/Gathering : Scripts are a nice idea but they're extremely limited turn ins, instead of dailies every(60) item should have a value(red script) and everyday different items will be bonus scripts added to them.
24 mans : VA was far too easy, Mcach however is quite fun even now & a step up in challenge.
Additional content : LoV is a nice idea but I don't care for it, & weirdly I couldn't tell what would make it better. Diadem was a great(terribly executed) idea & I read it will be reworked in 3.4 so I am looking forward to it. Deep dungeon looks to be fun however as a player will all 60s, there is very little incentive to run it besides one weapon & I worry it won't be worth doing, but it looks fun.
Music: Beautiful, trial musics especially, no complaints.
Gear : I love the crafted gear that actually is useful. 3.2 hitting was lots of fun bc I worked hard to make money so I could buy all the 220s for every class. Tomestone gear is the same as always.
End game: Same as ARR with one less dungeon. Something needs to change.
Other: Stats are the same boring static numbers as always only DET is more useless than before. The new classes are pretty much copy and pasted but they do have unique flaire so honestly I am okay with them if it is the only way to make it so every class is useful. Housing is the same but I don't want the devs to waste time on it until they spruce up the actual meat of the game. QoL improvements are all good, no complaints.
