I think you might of missunderstood the whole point of his thread. He clearly is talking about how some Tanks take the piss in low level dungeons, Tanks that come in using DR for Lore yet the people in the low level dungeons are using it to train the class and get better at their job. Even when asked nicely to take things slow cause they are trying to learn there class in dungeons they don't listen, they fast pull and do their own thing instead of working with the healer and the group.

While I understand that may be the overall case of what the OP is suggesting... the example OP used is waiting for Protect. Protect is mitgation, yes, but only the tank really needs that mitigation in a good party. If the tank is rushing, it means he knows what he's capable of. Though I will admit there are bad apples... I had a tank in Expert recently who pulled up to the third group after the first gate in Sohr Kai in nothing less than the bare minimal item level... he went down really quick. It did not help that he only had a fair few Lore pieces. But in the long run, you would just get more to deal with it (when capable) than to just treat toxicity with even more toxicity.
