I need a moment to set up, and once that happens its usually stress free, I can't believe that's so hard for people to accept. I even give out a warning, so there's no excuse. I'm trying to be nice.

So you're going in, without even having your abilities on your bar? Basically you're going in unprepared? and then expecting others who are prepared to bend over to your will? Nice. A+
Just gonna keep bein' awesome.
Lone Wolf of WB =^-^=

The thing is they have every right to do this lower level dungeons are meant to train people in there classes and working in a group. I would do the same thing if this was happening to me as a Healer. That job is no joke if you can't get it right in low level dungeons it's gonna be hard in high level dungeons. So if a tank is not listening even when I have asked nicely I would let them die. Till they learn their lesson.

No, you twisted my words. When I say set up, I mean set up my buffs, so that I can do my job properly.
We all take some time to learn, sadly this is something some players do not understand. I was doing a mentor roulette few days ago and the tank kept chain pull, rushing as fast as possible. Both the tank and me were mentors. The newcomers wanted to explore the whole dungeon, but tank refused, the newcomers wanted to learn, so I explained stuff about the dungeons, I gave them tips about their class and even explained each boss and how to beat them. Tank was not having any of that, he kept rushing and insulting the newcomers for holding the group back.
Sadly before I could start a Vote-Kick, one of the newcomers could not handle it anymore and left. I regret not kicking him out sooner.
Teamwork is requires a team and if one player is not having that, why should the others listen obey him or her? If you ask said person to wait few seconds or go slower, because you are learning or you want to take some extra time to teach newcomers. Isnt that teamwork, to help others learn and improve?

Honest question. Which choice would you choose when you vote-kick someone for being too fast?
AFK
Offline
Harassment
Cheating
I don't see it falling into any of these categories. I do have a feeling someone's going to quote this and say, "harassment", but harassment is a form of aggression and intimidation - not running too fast.

If it is impacting the rest of the group negatively and the rest of the group choose to kick him it'll pass, regardless of personal validation. If the tank doesn't agree he can argue it to a GM and let the GM decide if it was valid. People kick for viewing the cut-scenes in this community, I don't agree with it but it doesn't stop people from doing it.Honest question. I dont know what happend with OP dungeon run, but with mine the Tank hurled alot of bad words, I reckon harassment would fit pretty well there. The thing is with this game kicking someone does not mean you need to enter one of those 4 topics, since we can kick players for not playing up to the standard of the group. We can kick players for being bad, we can kick players for playing in a different way (ice mages, players doing none of the roles that fit them).Honest question. Which choice would you choose when you vote-kick someone for being too fast?

So in this case, I would have kicked him out for harassment and if the tank was not insulting and still rushing and ignoring, the group could have still kicked him out for any reason. It might not be a good reason, but that is how the system works in FFXIV.
I think you missed the rest of the post where it was clear the tank was insulting the newcomers, so harassment would be completely valid. Also, in this case 3 out of 4 party members wanted to do a full run so why couldn't the tank just slow down a bit (especially while wearing the mentor symbol *rolls eyes*)?Honest question. A bit of hypocrisy here as one could say the same about the higher level players. Why can't they adapt to a party when the party requests they slow down? Have they really grown if they don't even have the patience to wait for a protect at the start of a dungeon? Learning your class and how to adapt to situations is one, but learning and being willing to adapt to the party you are a part of is another equally important aspect. The sensitivity of the player base here is always astonishing to me. What's equally astonishing is an outright refusal to grow and adapt. Gain more bearing and a healthy dose of situational awareness or any more leveling you do will be riddled with more experiences like this. I'd rather not have the forums continue with nonsensical posts every time someone can't think one more step ahead.
I personally always adapt to the party I end up queued with, even if I'd prefer we do a fast run or that the tank make smaller pulls, because I understand that what's important is working with the people in your party (even if they are trying to work against you).

No, let me explain. That's sort of an 'in general' [the comment actually states, "...when you vote-kick someone for being too fast". So, you encounter a speed tank, and all he's doing is being fast. No derogatory comments, no flaming, etc. How do you justify the option for a kick?I think you missed the rest of the post where it was clear the tank was insulting the newcomers, so harassment would be completely valid.
