but thats still better then grind your soul for 80 items PLUS some HQ crafting items. i actually prefer the route of step 2, simply do these set of dungeons and boom step done.

I never said it wasn't better. In fact, its the system I prefer.

All I was saying is that Yoshi basically did say they will never change relic back to that system because %90 of the playerbase was too scrub to complete the trials and primals.

If they follow past trends (and it's not entirely clear that they will), Anima weapons will receive a boost to i245 in a 3.38 or 3.39 patch, which will make them temporarily best in slot, until 3.4 releases and includes (most likely) i250 weapons from a new EX encounter and i260 weapons from tomestones. That's how things have generally proceeded since 2.1, at any rate.

And that's fine. The relics haven't ever been best in slot for any period of time in which content mattered and that's likely to continue.

With 120 base accuracy, eliminating the need for 220 green overmelds, Relic is BiS for off healers (sch in particular.)
