New Anima weapons confuse me...
The natural conclusion to creating a living weapon, for me, was "unique" names like we'd currently had... "Sultan's Fists" and "Book of the Mad Queen" strike me as... Well, not what I'd name what I guess effectively amounts to your child? All of the new names come across as fairly generic... What you'd expect perhaps from old weapons perhaps with forgotten names (if you forgot Curtana was Curtana, for example, you might call it "Sword of the Sultan"), not brand new conscious weapons... I suppose the achievement implies that the Anima is, for example, the Mad Queen? That makes sense I guess, but then the previous quest seemingly had us assigning a gender to our Anima, though even if Scholars opted to hear a male voice, there's nothing stopping their book becoming a mad queen... Not sure how Kannagi became a Prince, though...
I think what it really is though, is that it is a renaming... My Kannagi is Kannagi, that's her name... Having her now become the Thorn Prince just strikes me as odd, at least the Zodiac weapons had a solid reason for getting a new name... I suppose if the early quests were us nurturing a babe, the current names fit for the teenage phase of our Animas growth... Guess I should wait to actually do the quest to see their justification, but yeah... Hope they grow out of this, not keen on any of the new names (save Warrior, perhaps), nor the new models (save a few, including Warrior, damn that Job just gets all the love this expansion)...
