Don't know if it is only in the german version readable this way, as the german grammar does alot more separate female and male than english.

An example that could be close to this and got hopefully not to wrong translated by Mr Google:

"I have a mortal shown the ...."

For the word you would use in german for the "a" in the context of the sentence, we have more than one version: male, female and for "things".

In the german version, during our small talk with Moenbryda in northern Thanalan, he tells us during his short visit, that he did show a female person how to summon and he was angry, because we did destroy it. This was lorewise not long after we defeated Shiva. So its pretty clear which female person he did mean and he was the one, who showed it to her.
