I count Nyzul in Assaults since they both required the same ID tag, and this was by no means a definitive list, just to highlight there were plenty of lockouts in that game. Not to mention that those lockouts physically prohibited you from doing content.

XIV has caps, but it doesn't prevent you from *doing* anything (at least not anymore). You may think there's no reason to if you're capped on tomes and stuff, but that'd be a matter of preference and playstyle. And we're certainly not going to change each others minds in that respect^^ Love both the games, but I also think it's fair to point out certain things.

Oh of course This game to me just seems to be missing a few things...I would much at least like some FC content, or stuff not to be DoA ; ; That would be a start..

And the daily lockouts are tidous chore list stuff thats designed to incentivise you to keep logging in everyday. Eventually it just makes you resent logging in at all because the chore list has become negative reinforcement.

That is exactly how I feel.

The decline from 3.0 til now was far bigger than the decline from 2.0 to 2.55

An active player can simply be a sprout which never gets to complete the story because he got bored, can even be a bot or just people who get hyped and come back but quit rather than completing content.

Accept it if you will, the player base of this game is very low.

As for population numbers even worse, population include alts, so no point going that way.

This. I can't tell you how many people join my FC or LS as sprouts and then never return.

The population is getting lower, all you gotta do is log in and look around...shoot, even on their own yearly financial report, SE said they expect a decline in subs from this game due to no expansion and stuff for a while..but hey, these folks know best. Better then SE i guess
