Yeah, recent estimates have actually shown a pretty strong playerbase.

This isn't the only place where I see more hardcore-style players complaining about the game being in a decline. But to see things from their perspective, they're probably confronted with the difficulty and frustration of trying to maintain raid statics in what could very well be a dwindling raiding scene.

But if that's the case, then that just shows why content like Deep Dungeons is so important for the game's longevity. Most of the game's players aren't raiders and may never do the cutting-edge raids and extreme primals. This game needs content that's more in tune with its average player.
