Open world dungeons would be nice. Half the fun from a newbie player like me in XI going from one place to another was finding these nooks and crannies and caves that have impossible to gauge monsters and some really nice goodies in them.

Maybe if hypothetically these open dungeons came into XIV they don't have to be as big as the one's we have now but in them there's a few branching paths and dead ends and the gimmick of the dungeons is there's randomly spawning treasure or hard to beat monsters that drop Lore tomes (Or whatever tome later) or glamour items. Problem I can see arising is players learning the spawn times and just camping for them and it could stop players from running dungeons entirely if they knew this tough monster that randomly spawns in the day drops a ton of tomes for traversing the dungeon.
