    Less a bout the gear and more about the content in general. You have no synergy or cooperation between combat/gathering classes because the nodes are never really in a state of danger. The no-fly zones are underutilized and can be a perfect example of the aforementioned synergy where you'd escort the gatherers and protect them as they gather the rare/exclusive materials. Add some of hte FATEs they love so much through the form of gathering items or procuring monster drops, and completing the objective unlocks new points or exploration areas by building a bridge or clearing rubble. Diadem treasure maps to draw out monsters or find treasures. All of this is just from me brainstorming for 3 minutes, alongside with the impressions I got from their trailer of all things. I'm astonished that more than half of what I brainstormed isn't the case.

    Right and my thoughts were similar on how to make it better. Usually when I think of content like this, I think about the lasting appeal. Things are usually fun at first, but usually starts becoming a chore to a lot. I always like to think of what will entice people to keep jumping back in even if it feels like a chore. Something like gear is enticing, but will the developers take time to make a dedicated set? Or try the random stats gear again? Where would it be placed? Yoshi-P said he regrets making the gear 210 as it caused an unbalance with tomestone/raid gear. I am interested to see in what they come up with.
