I've yet to see mods/admins share open discussions with people on here.

1000 times this.
There is like 0 communication on their part, saying we are doing/not doing this is not communication.
Even in live letters they answer only the most convenient questions, ignoring the important ones.
Discussing things between players and developers, opening polls on forum, asking players what they need or if they are ok with the changes they are going to do, and then take a decision, that's what they should do.
