Well FFXI didn't do 3 months average worth of content, however... Things that was releasaed 3 years before an expension pack that came our or 2 years after often was still rewarding and great fun. Why was it so fun? well the content itself was super cool to do and all of them was unique and the best was reward. I've done seightseing log soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo yeah, it's pretty nice for landscape views and mini games, like jumping on hard spots etc. FFXI had difficult content, but alot of it also appealed to many of them, the same type of players you find in here and it was fun and rewarding. A person who barely logs on these days in FF14 gets their gear and then they already half into the patch and the gear is outdated already.

Needless to say, the content release is very minimal in comparison. Especially if you want to deem something relevant to all players
